Prophecy<\/u><\/strong> Isaiah 9<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Birth of Jesus Foretold to Mary<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0Luke 1\u2028<\/p>\n\n\n\n

*Nancy26\u00a0\u00a0\u2026God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee,\u00a027\u00a0to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David.<\/strong><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

*<\/strong>Verlie The virgin\u2019s name was Mary.\u00a030\u00a0\u2026the Angel said \u201cDo not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God.\u00a031\u00a0You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus.<\/strong><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mary and Joseph travel to Bethlehem<\/u><\/strong> Luke 2<\/p>\n\n\n\n

*Jennifer2\u00a0In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world.\u00a04\u00a0So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David.<\/strong><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

*Karen5\u00a0He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child.\u00a06\u00a0While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born,\u00a07\u00a0and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them.<\/strong><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Shepherds and Angels<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0Luke 2<\/p>\n\n\n\n

*Josie8\u00a0And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night.\u00a09\u00a0An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified.<\/strong><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

*Martha 10\u00a0But the angel said to them, \u201cDo not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.\u00a011\u00a0Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.\u00a012\u00a0This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.\u201d<\/strong><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

*Nilda 15\u00a0When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, \u201cLet\u2019s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.\u201d 16\u00a0So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger.\u00a0<\/strong><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Magi Visit the Messiah<\/u><\/strong> Matthew 2<\/p>\n\n\n\n

*Rhonda2\u00a0After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem\u00a02\u00a0and asked, \u201cWhere is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.\u201d<\/strong><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

*<\/strong>Sandie 3\u00a0When King Herod heard this he was disturbed, and all Jerusalem with him.<\/strong>
4\u00a0When he had called together all the people\u2019s chief priests and teachers of the law, he asked them where the Messiah was to be born.\u00a0<\/strong><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

*<\/strong>Suzanne 5\u00a0\u201cIn Bethlehem in Judea,\u201d7\u00a0Then Herod called the Magi secretly and found out from them the exact time the star had appeared.\u00a0 8\u00a0He sent them to Bethlehem and said, \u201cGo and search carefully for the child. As soon as you find him, report to me, so that I too may go and worship him.\u201d<\/strong><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

*<\/strong>Mary 9\u00a0After they had heard the king, they went on their way, and the star they had seen when it rose went ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the child was.\u00a010\u00a0When they saw the star, they were overjoyed.\u00a0<\/strong><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

*<\/strong>Jenny 11\u00a0On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh.<\/strong><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n
