I will say it again: Rejoice!\u00a0<sup>5\u00a0<\/sup>Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.\u00a0<sup>6\u00a0<\/sup>Do not be anxious about anything,\u00a0but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.\u00a0<sup>7\u00a0<\/sup>And the peace of God,\u00a0which transcends all understanding,\u00a0will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><mark style=\"background-color:#8ed1fc\" class=\"has-inline-color\">4:<sup>8\u00a0<\/sup>Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable\u2014if anything is excellent or praiseworthy\u2014think about such things.\u00a0<sup>9\u00a0<\/sup>Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me\u2014put it into practice.\u00a0And the God of peace\u00a0will be with you.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><mark style=\"background-color:#ffc49a\" class=\"has-inline-color\">1:<sup>3\u00a0<\/sup>I thank my God\u00a0in all my remembrance of you,\u00a0<sup>4\u00a0<\/sup>always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy,\u00a0<sup>5\u00a0<\/sup>because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.\u00a0<sup>6\u00a0<\/sup>And I am sure of this, that he who began\u00a0a good work in you\u00a0will bring it to completion at\u00a0the day of Jesus Christ.\u00a0(ESV)<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><mark style=\"background-color:#dcb8ff\" class=\"has-inline-color\">1: <sup>9\u00a0<\/sup>And this is my prayer: that your love\u00a0may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight,\u00a0<sup>10\u00a0<\/sup>so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ,\u00a0<sup>11\u00a0<\/sup>filled with the fruit of righteousness\u00a0that comes through Jesus Christ\u2014to the glory and praise of God. (NIV)<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><mark style=\"background-color:#fcb7c8\" class=\"has-inline-color\">1:<sup>9\u00a0<\/sup>My prayer for you is that you will overflow more and more with love for others, and at the same time keep on growing in spiritual knowledge and insight,\u00a0<sup>10\u00a0<\/sup>for I want you always to see clearly the difference between right and wrong, and to be inwardly clean, no one being able to criticize you from now until our Lord returns.\u00a0<sup>11\u00a0<\/sup>May you always be doing those good, kind things that show you are a child of God, for this will bring much praise and glory to the Lord.
