the one who relies on it<br>\u00a0will never be stricken with panic.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ephesians 2:19-22<\/strong><br><mark style=\"background-color:#7bdcb5\" class=\"has-inline-color\"><strong>19&nbsp;<\/strong>Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God\u2019s people and also members of his household,&nbsp;<strong>20&nbsp;<\/strong>built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone.&nbsp;<strong>21&nbsp;<\/strong>In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord.&nbsp;<strong>22&nbsp;<\/strong>And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Questions 11 a, b<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Doctrine of God&#8217;s Wrath<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><mark style=\"background-color:#8ed1fc\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Jesus\u2019 death on the cross is difficult to explain without an understanding of God\u2019s righteous wrath against sin and its destruction. We excuse and minimize sin when we fail to see it like God does. Holy God hates sin enough to send His own Son to pay its agonizing price. This truth should move our hearts to wonder and worship. As much as God loves you, He hates your sin. Hope is found in Jesus alone. God sacrificed His Son so we do not have to experience His wrath. Jesus suffered the full extent of God\u2019s wrath when He hung on the cross. He experienced what you de- serve.
